An individual travelling on a motorbike has died after being struck by a part of a rock during a controlled explosion at a stone mill in Padaviya, Thonigala.
Police said the woman succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Padaviya Hospital.
Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the incident.
