Indian Foreign Secretary visits Oil Tank Farms in Trincomalee

Indian Foreign Secretary Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla has engaged in an observational tour of the Oil Tank Farms in Trincomalee.

Issuing a statement the High Commission of India in Colombo said, the Lanka IOC briefed him on the developments undertaken at the Lower Tank Farms.

The Indian Foreign Secretary was also informed of the possibilities of further strengthening India-Sri Lanka energy partnership to enhance Sri Lanka’s energy security.

Earlier today Indian Foreign Secretary Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla, who arrived in the island on a four-day official visit yesterday, visited the temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.

NewsRadio area correspondent said the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Bagalay was also present at the temple.

The Indian Foreign Secretary and the three member delegation, is scheduled to leave the country on the 5th of October.
