India’s wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant has been hospitalised after the car in which he was travelling met with an accident on National Highway 58 in the Haridwar district in Delhi.

The crash happened in the early hours of today between Manglaur and Narsan in the Haridwar district.

According to ANI, Pant was given primary treatment at the Roorkee Civil Hospital before he was transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun.

NCA head VVS Laxman tweeted that Pant was out of danger.

Praying for Rishabh Pant. Thankfully he is out of danger. Wishing @RishabhPant17 a very speedy recovery. Get well soon Champ.

— VVS Laxman (@VVSLaxman281) December 30, 2022

The 25-year-old Pant was most recently in action in the Test series between India and Bangladesh.

He scored 93 in India’s victory in Nagpur.

He was not picked in the squads for the white-ball series against Sri Lanka and was scheduled to report to the NCA for Strength & Conditioning work ahead of the Test series against Australia scheduled to begin on February 9.
