New Delhi (ANI): India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday (19) arrested nine Sri Lankans in a case linked to illegal drugs and arms trade between Sri Lanka and India.
The accused were arrested at the Trichy Special camp in Tamil Nadu.
Indian media reported, that the case relates to activities of a Sri Lankan drug mafia controlled by two individuals, in association with another drug and arms supplier based in Pakistan, that has been operating in India and Sri Lanka.
The case was registered suo-moto by the NIA on July 8 this year.
