(NewsRadio); In-form Suryakumar Yadav scored an effortless century to help India post 228/5 in their allotted 20 overs against Sri Lanka in the third and final Twenty20 International of the series in Rajkot.
Playing in his 43rd innings, Yadav went onto score his third T20I century today.
He remained not out on 112.
Suryakumar Yadav’s 51-ball innings consisted of nine sixes and seven fours.
He was ably supported by Shubman Gill who scored 46 and Rahul Tripathi who scored 35 off just 16 balls.
For Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madushanka finished with 2/55.
Earlier, India captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to bat first.
