Immigration Dept. issues notice to individuals with appointment this week

The Department of Immigration and Emigration has informed individuals with appointments for tomorrow (14) to obtain passports, to refrain from visiting the department tomorrow.

A breakdown in the data system of the Department was reported today (13) while passports could not be issued during the day as a result.

Accordingly, individuals who made appointments for tomorrow have been instructed to visit the Department on Thursday and individuals who made appointments for Friday have been requested to visit the Department on Saturday.

Accordingly, individuals who made appointments for tomorrow have been instructed to visit the Department on Wednesday, and those booked appointment for Wednesday to visit the Department on Thursday, persons with appointments on Thursday to visit on Friday and individuals who made appointments for Friday have been requested to visit the Department on Saturday.

The Immigration and Emigration Department will remain open on Saturday for services.

The Department also noted that individuals who submitted applications today can obtain their passports tomorrow (14) after 12pm.

Individuals who are unable to visit the office tomorrow will be sent their passports through courier service to their personal residences.
