Inspector General of Police CD Wickramaratne has issued a statement informing Policemen and Officers in Charge of guidelines when performing duties during quarantine curfew.
According to the statement, Senior Provincial DIG’s, District DIG’s, and Heads of respective Police Divisions must be responsible for carrying out duties in a manner that does not harm the economic output.
He also requested the officers to supervise and direct subordinates accordingly.
