Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Parliamentarian Madhura Withanage says the government is ready to issue Gazette Notifications daily in order to protect consumers.

Speaking during a media briefing at the Department of Government Information yesterday, MP Withanage said the government is responsible for protecting consumers and farmers as well as ensuring foreign exchange does not leave the country unnecessarily.

The Parliamentarian said certain economic, social, security and health factors change constantly adding the government must take the highest possible measures to ensure the public is protected.
