Former Parliamentarian P Harrison says the government will bring about a law that will only grant permission for marriage if the couple would have five children.
He says such a law is mandatory if the public are to cope with a queuing culture brought about by the present government.
Speaking to media in Dambulla over the current struggle to purchase essentials, former MP Harrison said families could keep each member in one queue only if the family had more than five members.
He stressed that people have been inconvenienced in purchasing gas, rice and milk powder which are essential to every household.
Former Parliamentarian P Harrison said the government’s plans for the country were all short-term.
Therefore he charged that the administration will sell off local assets to foreign entities to cover their costs.
The Former MP recalled of government promises to not sell local assets but have managed to sell the oil tanks in Trincomalee.
