Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga says the government is aiming to bring down around 5,000 tourists daily from November.
Minister Ranatunga said they have taken necessary steps to achieve the target while adhering to new health guidelines.
Speaking to media today, Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said based on new COVID health guidelines they can bring down tourists.
He said with restrictions are still in pace for tourists across the globe they will face certain challenges to achieve the target.
Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said despite the obstacles, they are working to bring down 5,000 to 6,000 tourists daily.
