The Samagi Jana Balawegaya says the government must not reach arbitrary decisions pertaining to controlling the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Speaking during a media briefing Parliamentarian Gayantha Karunatilleka said health officials have warned of the risk of the Delta variant and the spread of COVID-19.
The MP said the government must listen to the advice issued by health units and reach necessary decisions for the people’s safety.
He stressed the government must not reach arbitrary decisions and think of political benefits, when reaching such decisions.
