COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The Government Medical Officers’ Association will begin its ‘Black Protest Week’ from today, over the proposed amendments to the New Inland Revenue Act and several other matters.
Secretary of the GMOA Dr. Haritha Aluthge said the Central Committee unanimously agreed to stage a ‘Black Protest Week’ over the tax revision, demanding the government to address the drugs shortage among others.
Dr. Haritha Aluthge said if favorable solutions are not given to their demands, they will intensify their trade union action.
