COLOMBO (NewsRadio); A gazette extraordinary has been issued confirming the three-month service extension granted for Inspector General of Police CD Wickramaratne by the President.
Accordingly, the appointment will be valid for three months from the 26th of March.
The gazette in this regard has been issued by the Secretary to the President, Saman Ekanayake.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe granted the three-month service extension for IGP Wickramaratne which was also ratified by the Constitutional Council.
