An Extraordinary Gazette Notification has been issued amending the institutional and legal framework pertaining to several state institutions and ministries.
The amendments have been made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, with effect from yesterday.
Accordingly, the institutional and legal framework of the Presidential Secretariat, the State Ministry of Defence and Disaster Management and the Ministry of Finance have been revised.
The institutional and legal framework of the Foreign Ministry, the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation as well as the Ministry of Mass Media have also been revised with effect from yesterday.
