Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Sumith Wijesinghe says fuel prices may have to be increased, amidst the prevailing situation.
Speaking during a media briefing in Colombo this morning, Wijesinghe said the matter has been brought to the attention of the subject Minister.
He claimed as of the 31st of August, the CPC suffered losses amounting to Rs.70 billion.
He added the main solution is to increase fuel prices.
