The Supreme Court today ordered the Fundamental Rights petition filed by Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Parliamentarian Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, seeking an order to vest the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology in Malabe under the Mahapola Higher Education Scholarship Trust Fund, to be heard before a three-member judge bench that does not include the Chief Justice.

The petition will be taken up for consideration on the 21st of March 2022.

The petition was taken up today before Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, LTB Dehideniya and Murdu Fernando.
