General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Sagara Kariyawasam has requested the public not to perceive the fertiliser issue and the increase in local milk powder prices with a narrow mindset.
MP Kariyawasam speaking at a media briefing said the pros and cons of chemical fertiliser are all part of chemical science.
He said the President and the government will act accordingly if a decision reached previously requires to be amended.
The Parliamentarian said the farming community is one of the main forces that supported the SLPP in forming a government claiming the government still has the support of the farming community.
