Commissioner General of Examinations LMD Dharmasena says an order has been issued to all heads of examination halls to ensure the time is accurately displayed via an electronic clock during the conduct of the 2021 GCE Advanced Level Examination.
Speaking during a media briefing at the Health Promotion Bureau today, Dharmasena requested students to request the time from supervisors during the exam and to adjust their clocks accordingly.
He said only one time should be followed by everyone at examination centres.
The Examinations Commissioner General said no complaints pertaining to the time limit will be possible through such a process.
On a separate note, Dharmasena said the National Identity Card is mandatory to face the exam adding if an ID is not available a photograph certified by the relevant principal can be produced.
He however said this practice is no longer promoted adding results of such individuals will only be released subject to investigations to verify their identity.
Furthermore, the Commissioner General of Examinations requested individuals to contact the 1911 hotline or 011 2784 208 or 011 2784 537 in the event of any issues related to the A/Level Exam including to clarify the examination centre, subjects or the medium.
He also provided his direct number, 0714 679 679 and 2784 422 fax number.
The A/Level Exam is due to commence on the 7th of February.
