The Cabinet Subcommittee appointed to resolve teacher-principal salary anomalies and other issues have called on trade unions of the education sector.
Speaking to NewsRadio General Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers Union Joseph Stalin said the meeting will be held at 6 pm next Tuesday, at Minister Wimal Weerawansa’s official residence.
He said teacher-principal trade unions hope to resolve all pertinent issues at the meeting.
In reply to a government decision to meet trade unions separately, he said the trade unions communicated that they will meet as a collective unit.
