Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardena is due to make a special statement today, pertaining to reopening schools.
The Director General of Health Services recently handed over guidelines to the Ministry of Education in order to reopen schools.
The Ministry said schools will accordingly reopen under several stages, while the decision will be announced today.
