All economic centres island wide have been open today.

Accordingly, trading at economic centres commenced at 04.00am for wholesale trading only.

Although quarantine curfew is in effect, steps have been taken to open economic centres with the aim of providing essential food items to the public without any shortages.

The trade unions said despite the large quantities of vegetables arriving at the economic centres yesterday, there was a drop in the number of traders visiting centres.
