COLOMBO (NewsRadio); A special discussion will be held today in relation to reducing bus fares following recent fuel price revision.
The discussion will be held between the National Transport Commission and private bus unions.
Despite fuel prices reductions on consecutive months, private bus unions have claimed that they are not in possession to reduce bus fares.
The NTC said however the decision on bus fare reduction should be made at Ministerial Level following talks.
Last week, expressway bus fares were reduced by 10 percent.
