Deadline to pay CMC council rates extended

The deadline to pay council rates for the second quarter of 2021 for the Colombo Municipal Council has been extended till the 31st of July.

Accordingly, the council rates can be paid without a surcharge till the 31st.

Issuing a statement Colombo Municipal Commissioner Attorney Roshanie Dissanayake said a surcharge of 15% of the council rate for the quarter will be added to Residential Property and Wasteland, and 20% will be added for other property, after the deadline.
