State Minister Shehan Semasinghe says the country must move forward, keeping in mind daily wage earners alongside persons who draw monthly salaries, when reaching decisions related to the coronavirus.

The State Minister speaking at a media briefing said the government has not taken any negative decisions pertaining to the country or its people.

He claimed that certain travel restrictions continue to remain in place, adding that decisions are reached based on advice by health authorities.

Semasinghe said when decisions need to be amended, suitable steps will be taken.
