Customs arrest Ugandan female for cocaine possession

A Ugandan female has been arrested by the Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Bureau for the possession of a stock of cocaine.

A Ugandan female has been arrested by the Sri Lanka Customs Narcotics Bureau for the possession of a stock of cocaine.

The Ugandan arrived in the country from Uganda via Doha, Qatar.

Suspicions arose when the 45-year-old was stopped at departure gates for questioning by Customs officers.

The cocaine that was swallowed by the woman.

51 packs were retrieved of a total of 100 packs of cocaine as of last night.

The Ugandan has been handed over to the Customs Narcotics Control Unit for further investigations.
