Another 20 persons succumbed to the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Department of Government Information said Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 related death toll increased to 15,420.
13 males and seven females were among the victims. Eight males were over 60 years of age while three were between the ages of 30 and 59.
Two of the male victims were below 30 years of age.
Of the female victims, four were over 60 years, while two were between 30 and 59 years and one was below 30 years.
