Another 15 persons succumbed to the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Department of Government Information said Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 related death toll increased to 15,299.
Nine males and six females were among the victims.
Five males were over 60 years of age while three were between the ages of 30 and 59 and one was below 30 years.
Of the female victims, four were over 60 years, while two were between 30 and 59 years.
The draft of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution has been presented to the Cabinet of Ministers.
