Over 20 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in Sri Lanka.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 20,126,990 vaccine doses have been administered in the country thus far.
571,589 individuals were administered vaccine doses against the coronavirus yesterday, the highest number in a single day.
11,951 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, while 653 persons received the second dose.
Meanwhile 48,280 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 488,158 individuals were administered the second Sinopharm dose.
12 individuals also received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 1,662 individuals received the second Pfizer dose.
Furthermore, 16 persons were given the first jab of the Moderna vaccine while 20,857 received the second jab.
7,703,411 individuals in Sri Lanka have been fully vaccinated since January.
