175,431 vaccine doses have been administered against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 81,237 individuals received the second dose of the Moderna vaccine yesterday while 15 persons received the first jab.
52,472 individuals received the second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while another 24,724 were given the first jab.
The Epidemiology Unit added 8,089 individuals received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine while the second jab was administered to 3,654 persons.
Furthermore, 12 individuals received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 426 others obtained the second jab.
4,802 individuals were also administered the second dose of the Sputnik V vaccine yesterday.
According to updated data released by the Epidemiology Unit, 5,807,496 individuals in total have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, 176 vaccination centres will be in operation today in 20 districts.
