The Ministry of Health has granted approval for limited crowds to attend the 2021 Lanka Premier League.
Minister of Sports Namal Rajapaksa taking to Twitter confirmed the decision.
The Minister said limited crowds will be able to attend the 2021 LPL under strict health guidelines. Minister Rajapaksa also stated that approval has been granted for limited spectators to attend the ongoing Sri Lanka – West Indies Test series at the Galle International Stadium.
The Lanka Premier League will commence on the 5th of December and will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, while the LPL will move to Hambantota for the knock-out stages.
The finals of the Lanka Premier League will be played on the 23rd of December.
