The number of COVID-19 recoveries recorded in the country has increased to 618,886.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 89 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals today.
The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in the country increased to 655,730 following the detection of 347 patients yesterday.
20,454 persons are currently receiving treatment for the coronavirus at several facilities across the country.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 death toll remains at 16,390.
