The new laboratory established at the Bandaranaike International Airport to conduct PCR tests on foreign arrivals commenced testing yesterday.
Accordingly, the first Sri Lankan who was tested at the laboratory was an individual who arrived from Narita, Japan on board a SriLankan Airlines flight.
Thereafter, a UK national was the first foreign national to be tested.
