Another 195 persons recover from COVID-19 in Sri Lanka

Another 195 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries to 609,680.

Another 195 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries to 609,680.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said accordingly, 22,443 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.

The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Sri Lanka remains at 648,410 following the detection of 711 patients yesterday.

Sri Lanka’s coronavirus death toll is currently at 16,287.
