64,647 quarantine regulation violators arrested thus far

739 individuals have been arrested yesterday on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

739 individuals have been arrested yesterday on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

The group was arrested during a 24-hour period that ended at 6am today.

The Police Media Unit said they impounded 70 vehicles during yesterday’s operations.

Accordingly, 64,647 individuals have been arrested over violating quarantine laws since the 30th of October 2020.

Meanwhile, Police also inspected 1,959 persons in 1,335 vehicles at 13 entry and exit points to the Western Province yesterday.
