61,362 individuals were administered vaccine doses against the coronavirus yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 566 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 1,874 individuals were administered the second Sinopharm dose.

773 individuals also received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 511 individuals received the second Pfizer dose.

57,632 persons were administered the Pfizer booster dose.

Furthermore, six persons received the second dose of the Moderna vaccine.

14,552,624 individuals have been fully vaccinated in Sri Lanka, while a total of 30,488,258 vaccine doses have been administered in the country.
