467 test positive for COVID today; total cases up to 655,383

467 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 thus far today increasing total infections in the country to 655,383.

81 individuals earlier recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged raising total recoveries to 618,697.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 20,305 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities.

Sri Lanka’s virus death toll is currently at 16,381
