426 discharged; COVID-recoveries up to 544,626

426 individuals recovered from COVID-19 and have been discharged during the past 24-hours.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka’s coronavirus recoveries have risen to 544,626.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases rose to 571,426 with the detection of 754 patients yesterday.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 12,227 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.

Meanwhile, yesterday, another 18 coronavirus-related fatalities were confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the death toll to 14,573.
