Another 29 COVID-19 related fatalities have been confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the virus death toll in the country to 15,544.
The Government Information Department said 17 males and 12 females were among the individuals who succumbed to the virus yesterday.
Three females and a male among the victims were identified as between 30 and 59 years of age while 14 males and 11 females were identified as 60 years or above.
