21 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said the COVID-deaths were reported yesterday, the 3rd of December.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka’s coronavirus deaths have risen to 14,440.
17 males and four females were among the victims.
Five males and a female were identified as between 30 and 59 years of age while 12 males and three females were identified as 60 years or above.
474 individuals earlier recovered from COVID-19 and have been discharged during the past 24-hours.
Total coronavirus recoveries rose to 542,010.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases rose to 566,196 following the detection of 725 patients yesterday.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 9,746 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities.
