151 quarantine law violators nabbed

151 persons have been arrested during the past 24 hours on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

151 persons have been arrested during the past 24 hours on charges of violating quarantine regulations.

Police said 54,251 persons have been arrested on the relevant charges thus far.

Meanwhile 2,493 persons attempting to travel across provincial borders of the Western Province have been inspected yesterday.

Police said 234 of them were issued stern warnings and sent back, for attempting to violate travel restrictions.

Police said operations pertaining to quarantine regulations will continue, while requesting public not to violate the law imposed to curb the spread of the pandemic.
