Sri Lanka’s coronavirus related death toll has risen to 4,195.
The Government Information Department said 48 virus-linked deaths were confirmed yesterday.
28 males and 20 females were among the victims.
The Government Information Department said nine among those who succumbed were between 30 and 59 years of age while 38 individuals were identified as above 60 years of age.
One female who succumbed to the virus was below the age of 30.
Israeli bombardments have caused damage to more than 50 percent of housing units across Gaza, according to local officials.
