COVID-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka increase to 541,536

Another 412 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries to 541,536.

Another 412 persons who contracted the novel coronavirus have recovered and have been discharged from hospitals, raising the number of recoveries to 541,536.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said accordingly, 9,536 persons are currently receiving treatment for coronavirus at several facilities across the country.

The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Sri Lanka remains at 565,471 following the detection of 738 patients yesterday.

Sri Lanka’s coronavirus death toll is currently at 14,399.
