COVID-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka increase to 278,910

The number of COVID-19 recoveries recorded in the country has increased to 278,910.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 1,792 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals today.

The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in the country rose to 308,812 following the detection of 2,150 patients yesterday.

25,522 persons are currently receiving treatment for the coronavirus at several facilities across the country.
