The Supreme Court today rejected a request to hear petitions seeking annulment of the decision to vest 40 percent of shares of the Yugadanavi Power Plant in Kerawalapitiya to US firm New Fortress.

Hearing of the petition was rejected today, when it was taken up for consideration today before a panel of Supreme Court judges comprising Chief Justice Jayantha Jayasuriya, LTB Dehideniya, Buwaneka Aluvihare and Vijith Malalgoda.
