Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President on National Security Sagala Ratnayake says the government has laid the foundation in setting the background to ensure leaders of the country are responsible for the economy, within a legal framework.
He made this observation while laying the foundation stone for a new boatyard of the Northwest Marine Lanka Pvt. Ltd. at the Dikkowita Fisheries Harbour in Wattala.
Ratnayake commended the contribution of the private sector in efforts of reinvigorating the economy at a time when it is experiencing the repercussions of inconsistent fiscal management policy decisions of the past.
