Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna Parliamentarian Jagath Kumara Sumithraarachchi says the country may have to be closed over the next few days, due to the increase in COVID-19 cases detected daily.
Speaking to media the Parliamentarian said it is a difficult decision with the current economic situation.
He said however the country may have to be closed for at least a short period, to save people’s lives.
