Efforts are underway to identify close contacts of Members of Parliament who tested positive for COVID-19.
Parliament Serjeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando said CCTV footage of Parliament will also be inspected for this purpose.
Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and Parliamentarians Janaka Tissa Kuttiarachchi, Rohana Dissanayake and Dilip Wedaarachchi tested positive for the coronavirus during the past week.
Minister Aluthgamage and MP Tissa Kuttiarachchi did not attend Parliament sittings last week.
MP Rohana Dissanayake was present in Parliament last on Tuesday.
MP Dilip Wedaarachchi was present in Parliament for two sittings.
However, the Serjeant-at-Arms said according to determinations the risk of the virus spreading from the Members of Parliament to other MPs is relatively low.
