The circular pertaining to summoning state sector workers for duty with the lifting of quarantine curfew has been issued.
The circular has been undersigned by the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration JJ Ratnasiri.
The circular states, adhering to health guidelines, resorting to electronic methods for client servicing, issuing dates and times to provide services instead of summoning large groups and encouraging the use of other modes of technology to minimise the exchange of currencies should be ensured.
The circular also stated that gatherings and interactions at offices should be minimised while contact during travel and travelling in groups should be curtailed.
The circular issued by the Ministry Secretary adds that the distribution of snacks and tea during meetings should be suspended due to health reasons.
