Experts say children are facing mental stress due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking during a media briefing in Colombo today, Clinical Psychologist Tina Solomons said daily activities of children have changed due to isolation and social distancing rules, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
She added children are unable to go outdoors and meet with people and friends.
Clinical Psychologist Tina Solomons noted it has led to mental stress amongst children across the world.
She noted that when mental stress worsens children can become aggressive and lose focus.
Solomons noted it is important to consult a psychologist or psychiatrist if such symptoms are frequent.
