The Cabinet of Ministers has held discussions related to the Buddhist and Pali University.

The President’s Media Division said the Cabinet decided to discuss the matter with all Mahanayake Thera to reach an agreement on academic and administrative affairs of the university of Sri Lanka.

The PMD said the Cabinet also decided to close the university until the discussion takes place.
